{"id":106,"date":"2008-10-06T14:40:33","date_gmt":"2008-10-06T18:40:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/devinjpoore.com\/?p=106"},"modified":"2026-04-23T11:23:31","modified_gmt":"2026-04-23T16:23:31","slug":"pizza-in-central-park","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/devinjpoore.com\/?p=106","title":{"rendered":"Pizza in Central Park"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a title=\"Did someone say pizza?\" href=\"https:\/\/devinjpoore.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/10\/pizza.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: 1px solid black; margin: 3px 6px;\" title=\"Did someone say pizza?\" src=\"https:\/\/devinjpoore.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/10\/pizza.thumbnail.jpg\" alt=\"Did someone say pizza?\" width=\"128\" height=\"96\" align=\"left\" border=\"1\" hspace=\"6\" vspace=\"4\" \/><\/a>The Chanel project continues in Central Park.\u00a0 I&#8217;m finally, after two weeks, into the groove of the 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. schedule, enough so that I can get some things done during the day and get back to writing.\u00a0 I guess the two week acclimation period is just another indicator that I&#8217;m not in my early twenties anymore (when I used to work the night shift aboard ship with no problem).<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s some information: The raccoons in Central Park go nuts over pizza.\u00a0 We see them every evening, stealing cookies from the catering table and generally being nosey.\u00a0 On Saturday night, though, we had pizza and they went nuts.\u00a0 Literally under foot, four of them at a time working together to get to the pizza boxes, multi-pronged approaches from opposite sides of the tent.\u00a0 Quite funny.<\/p>\n<p>Oh yeah, and the building continues to go up.
